The Best Beach Destinations

Everyone thinks about their dream vacation. For some, visiting Europe with all of its history and famous structures like the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower of Pizza, or the Roman Coliseum is the utmost of their dream holiday. For others, active or extreme sports are their vacation choice. They fantasize about climbing Mount Everest or skiing in Switzerland, or diving with the sharks in the Great Barrier Reef. Then there are others who just want to relax and enjoy a restful vacation, a light rum punch with a little umbrella in their hand, their toes sunk into a white sand beach and the sun creating a toasty sheen to their pale skin. Those are the people who want to find the best beach destinations.

Although beach lovers may all seem to want the same things, not all agree that the best beach destinations are ones with pure white sands lapping against tranquil shores. Beaches can be varied and different depending where you go in the world.

In the Caribbean, you are more likely to find those powdery white sand beaches that most dream about. There are several Caribbean islands that would fit into that category. Jamaica would be one with a variety of white sand beach locations to choose from, Grand Cayman another with its seven mile beach. You can also find fabulous sandy beaches in Cuba or the Turks and Caicos Islands. And the water in those places is pure, aqua and clean. Some of the Caribbean islands, though, offer rocky beaches with a more pronounced wave system and a hilly-er landscape, the island of St. Lucia for instance.

Other places in the world offer beaches formed from volcanic activity. Take the island of Santorini, Greece for instance. It has some wonderful swimming spots and offers fantastic weather and the most beautiful picturesque sights, but the beaches there are more pebbles than sand. The black and red pebbles that form these beaches were created by the islands past volcanic history. Greece has long been known though as being one of the best beach destinations in the world.

Hawaii also offers a different style of beaches for beach lovers. Some of the islands offer sand, while other parts offer the lava rock beaches formed by their own volcanic past. Here the water is not as tranquil, but is great for surfers or boogie boarders, while still being clear enough to satisfy snorkerlers and scuba divers.

Other beach locations offer sporting activities beyond just soaking up the sun and sand on the beach. If you are a sports enthusiast, you can go zip-lining in Costa Rica, another famous beach location, or you could para-sail from a Brazilian beach.

There are also beaches that favor nature as part of their attraction. Have you ever thought of penguin watching from a South African beach, whale watching from the Galapagos Islands or swimming with sharks in Australia? Costa Rica is another place famous for an eco-beach vacation.

The best beach destinations do not have to be a simple sun and sand location, unless what you truly want to do is just relax and soak up the rays. You can visit great beaches all over the world and gear your beach vacation to the activities you want to do, or combine your beach vacation with the history you want to experience first-hand. Next time you are looking for one of those best beach destinations, explore the possibilities and find a new beach experience.

Online Marketing For Small Business | free world message

In general, a great slogan will define the philosophy, concepts or operations of a business. Think about how "Just do it" defines Nike's philosophy on playing sports, or Avis's "We try harder" defines customer services operations. When trying to craft a marketing slogan for your physical therapy practice, start with the message you want to convey to the public before tackling the creative side.

Once you know what you want to convey, aim for short, sweet and catchy. These are the hallmarks of successful slogans and taglines that are an integral part of any branding package, and this is also true for a physical therapy marketing slogan. In fact, the American Physical Therapy Association has implemented a new branding campaign that incorporates the slogan "Move Forward: Physical Therapy Brings Motion to Life." This is a unifying call to all physical therapists to re-focus their branding campaigns as a community.?

The goal of the slogan is to change the public mindset that the benefits of physical therapy are limited to rehabilitation. The slogan directs consumers to connect physical therapy with motion and life, which broadens its potential for preventative uses: life improvement via physical motion.

Here are some key branding messages from APTA's "Brand New Campaign" that will guide you in thinking about your own marketing slogan:

* Physical Therapy can improve mobility and quality of life without surgery or prescription drugs.

* Many PTs have the most specialized education to help restore motion.

* Many PTs are doctors of physical therapy and all of them are trusted health care professionals with extensive education in diagnosing and treating conditions that limit the body's ability to move and function in daily life.

* PTs can teach patients and clients how to prevent or manage a condition, and thus achieve long-term health benefits.

* Consumers in most states can make an appointment with a PT directly, without physician referral.

Once you have decided on a message that best represents your service, identity or philosophy, write several marketing slogans that you think might reflect your message. Catchy slogans are sometimes created with one or more of the following:

* Rhyme and repetition: "Flick my Bic"

* Double-meaning: "Reach out and touch someone"

* Visual connection to logo or business: "Fill it to the rim with Brim"

* Cause and effect relationship: "Calgon, take me away"

The most important elements of a slogan or tag line are simplicity, and connectivity: it should be universally understood regardless of a person's age, gender, background and education. Here are some examples of marketing slogans that reflect a specific message about each practice:

"Journey, Success, Relax, Looking Forward"

"Restoring Your Good Health"

"Going beyond your symptoms..."

"Be treated like a pro!"

"The treatment you need, the care you deserve"

"No pills, no surgery, just results"

"Quality Hands On Care"

"Maximum HEALTH"

"The art and science of wellness"

An unforgettable physical therapy marketing slogan will ultimately reflect the context of your practice while capturing an audience in a creative, simplistic way. Without a contextual connection to the product, slogans are meaningless. So, once you have crafted a slogan that's a home run for your practice, make sure to put it out there on all your physical therapy marketing materials to create your brand and grow your practice.

  6. QUESTION:
What is the best way to market a small business for free online?
    • ANSWER:
"If you build it, they will come" is not necessarily true on the Web. Putting a website up is one thing, but getting visitors to come to your site is another. The process becomes even more difficult if you have limited resources to market your business.
Here are some shoestring marketing ideas that can help you get the visitors you need at the least cost possible:
      1. Create the best content you can with the best products you can possibly offer. Your content is your best advertisement - if visitors love your content, then they will go back and spread the word to others.
      2. Make it easy for users to recommend your site. Viral marketing is very important -- and easy to tap on the Web. But give your users the tools. Get a Recommend this Site script from websites such as cgiscripts.com and similar directories of scripts. Some even go as far as giving incentives to those who recommend the site to their friends. If only 10 people go to your site, but these 10 people invite 10 more - that's additional traffic that you get for FREE!
      3. Rank well in the search engines (organic search results, not the pay per click). SEs can be a big source of traffic. The key is to create the best content in your niche. If you have good content, other websites will gladly link to you and offer your site as a resource to their audience. Check the on-page factors and be sure to get linked from authority sites in your topic area.
If you are going to read only one piece on search engine optimization, I suggest you read Brett Tabke of WebmasterWorld.com's "Successful Site in 12 Months with Google Alone: 26 steps to 15k a day." http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/2010.htm
      4. Send out press releases. While outfits charge as much as 0 per release, there are free press release submission places on the Web. Press releases allow you to (a) attract media attention; (b) get more back links to your website without sending each website an email request; and (c) get more visibility especially if your press release gets in Google News or Yahoo News. My website (see my profile) accepts free press release submission (no strings attached!)
      5. Submit articles. Write articles and submit them to websites accepting author submissions. You get exposure for your business; establishes you as an authority in your field, and allows you to get backlinks for your website. If 50 websites publish your article and it contains a link back to your website, then you easily get 50 links from a single article. The more links you have, the greater your chances for increasing your search engine rankings.
      6. Improve your conversion. Getting visitors is one thing; getting them to buy your products is a whole different story. Read the article "10 Ways to Convert Visitors to Buyers" http://www.powerhomebiz.com/072005/conversion.htm for tips on how to improve your conversion rates.

    • ANSWER:
Optimize it locally it ll 100% boost you sales as the fastest growing vertical in search, many people are now starting to recognize the value of local search engine optimization can have on their site traffic. Also known as regional search, it's basically Geo-targeting your audience when they search.
Local search works best for the service provider, or a retailer that has numerous locations. While the search volume won't be as great as a non-regional phrase, the person who reaches your site will be a more targeted visit and most likely ready to convert.
Another happy accident in local search is that for sites that are well optimized may also pick up rankings in mobile search.
So, here's what you need to do in order to rank for local seo:
      * Be sure to have your location(s) full address
      * If you have a regional number, list that as well since some people start with an area code
      * Be sure to include driving directions to your location
      * Use a mapping service to display your location
      * Have pictures of your locations and name them with your street address
      * Make sure your site appears in any regional directory that might be online
      * If you can afford it, get listed in your local yellow pages
      * Place the regions you want to rank for in your page titles
      * Get text links that contain the regional phrase
Most of these techniques are not only common sense, but also good web design. If you're in business, you want people to be able to find you.

How would I start a business, marketing and advertising for other local small businesses?

Pretty much anything to do with advertising/ promoting for local businesses owned by individuals (like lawn care, roofing, restraunt, hair salon etc.) What should I do to start my business and is this a stupid idea?
    • ANSWER:
I really think this is a good idea. I would contract you. Here are a few things you should know.
      1. Pick a good name. Something people will remember.
      2. Will you be a Sole Proprietor, LLC, or Corporation? This effects your liability if you get sued and taxes.
      3. How much seed capital, or money do you have to start your business? This can include credit available.
      4. Do you have a contract your costomers will sign? AKA an Engagement Agreement. Without this you will probably not get paid, and you will always want to leave very clear what you will do and not do. That way there are not any mistunderstandings.
      5. Do you have an office, or work from home? Office will help you get clients vs home where business is rent free.
      6. How will you keep records? Bookkeeping is very important. If the IRS has questions and you don't have records you will loose audits and get fined. This can lead to not having funds to run your business. BE CAREFUL and keep records.
      7. Will you have employees or sub-contractors? This can also get you in trouble. If you pay an employee cash that employee can sue you and you will most likely not have money to run your business after all the fines. BE HONEST.
      8. Do you have an Accountant, Lawyer who will help you and give you advise? This is an investment. We can help you to stay out of trouble and grow your business. Look for a trustworthy accountant.
Hope this helps and Good Luck!

Advertising ideas for small online business?
I just started a small online business (just from my home) that sells handmade bows. I understand this is a big market and I have a lot of competition but that isn't my concern because my goal isn't to sell a million bows in one day, I just want to start selling to people in general and see where I go from there. If you have any unique ideas like advertising to people face to face or even advertising online, please throw them at me, I would greatly appreciate it!
    www.smileylyleeboutique.moonfruit.com
    • ANSWER:
Nice website and homemade bows but your URL is really long. I think it should be short and unique so people can remember your site. Also if you want to boost sales start selling on other shopping websites like http://www.amazon.com/ or http://www.ebay.com/. There are millions of people on those sites that would probably love to by your bows. If you want to advertise your stuff online use https://adcenter.microsoft.com/ , so when ever people search for bows your website will pop up in the ads. Hope this helps you!

101 Mobility Franchise Opens Along Gulf Coast

Covington, LA (PRWEB) June 01, 2012

Chris and Cathy Hunter of Mandeville have opened the newest 101 Mobility franchise, operating along the Gulf Coast of Louisiana and Mississippi. 101 Mobility Gulf Coast will primarily serve the Greater New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Mississippi Gulf Coast markets with comprehensive personal mobility solutions for both home and business.

The Hunters have lived in the New Orleans area for the past 25 years, and bring with them years of professional experience. Chris Hunter, a Navy veteran who attended the University of Oklahoma, has worked in industrial and consumer sales. Cathy Hunter comes from a long career in healthcare, working in medical sales and management for Johnson and Johnson for the past two and a half decades. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from Tulane.

The Hunters recognize the desire for the aging population to seek solutions that allow for them to age in place. The baby boomer population aging, coupled with the multitude of raised homes in the area, provides a great opportunity to fill a need to make homes more accessible, says Chris Hunter. We look forward to generating creative mobility solutions for the communities in the Gulf Coast region.

Chris and Cathy bring with them a solid work ethic, and a commitment to their community. They believe above all else, that it is critical to treat people with honesty and integrity, and to work hard for all of their clients. Our business philosophy is to do the right thing, always, says Cathy Hunter.

The Hunters stated that one of the most exciting things about owning their own business is the opportunity to be home every night as a family with their 15 year-old twins ? a son and a daughter, since heavy travel was a requirement of Cathy?s former career. In their free time, the Hunters enjoy sailing, art, horticulture, reading, and volunteering for groups like Habitat for Humanity; but above all else, spending time with family. Many of their weekends are spent watching their daughter?s softball team. Regarding their decision with 101 Mobility specifically, the Hunters really liked the brand and the energy that the company possesses. We are excited to be part of the 101 Mobility Team,? said Cathy Hunter. ?The company is progressive and forward thinking.

101 Mobility Gulf Coast will focus on helping clients age-in-place by selling, installing, and servicing ramps, stair lifts, automobile lifts, patient lifts, vertical lifts, barrier-free baths and offering complete home modifications to incorporate total accessibility solutions. 101 Mobility is one of the nation?s largest sellers and installers of personal mobility products from well-known brands such as Bruno, Harmar, Liko, and many more.

101 Mobility is the franchising worlds first full-service sales, service, and installation provider of a complete line of mobility and accessibility products and equipment, including stair lifts, auto lifts, ramps, porch lifts, patient lifts, power wheelchairs, scooters and more. Short and long-term rentals are also available for home, office, and institution. By working with patients to identify which home health care devices best suit each individuals needs, 101 Mobility provides an alternative to group homes and rehabilitation centers by allowing patients to live self-sufficiently in their homes.

For more information, visit http://www.101mobility.com or call 985.893.1278.

iOS 6: How many betas will there be?

iOS 6: How many betas will there be?

This year, like every year, one of the most common questions iMore's being asked is -- how many betas will the be before iOS 6 becomes available to the general public?

At WWDC 2012, when Apple announced iOS 6 and released the first beta, they also announced that iOS 6 would ship sometime this fall. (Presumably a couple of days before the next generation iPhone 5 ships. That gives us a window roughly spanning from September to November. We likely won't find out the exact date until the iPhone 5 event, which also hasn't been announced or scheduled yet, but will also likely be in the fall.

If we look to history for clues:

  • iPhone OS 2.0 had 8 betas starting March 6, 2008, and was released on July 11, 2008
  • iPhone OS 3.0 had 5 betas starting March 17, 2009, and was released on June 17, 2009
  • iOS 4 had 4 betas starting on April 8, 2010 and was released as iOS 4 on June 21, 2010
  • iOS 5 had 7 betas starting on June 6, and was released on October 12, 2011

Here's the full beta schedule from last year's iOS 5 release:

  • Beta 1 was released on Friday, June 5
  • Beta 2 was released three weeks later on Friday, June 24
  • Beta 3 was released over two weeks later on Monday, July 11
  • Beta 4 was released under two weeks later on Friday, July 22
  • Beta 5 was released two weeks later on Saturday, August 6,
  • Beta 6 was released two weeks later on Friday, August 19
  • Beta 7 was released a week and a half later on Wednesday, August 31
  • GM was released almost seven weeks later on Tuesday, October 4
  • Final was released a week later on Wednesday, October 12

Here's the beta schedule to date for this year's iOS 6 release:

  • Beta 1 was released on Monday, June 11
  • Beta 2 was released two weeks later on Monday, June 25
  • Beta 3 was released three week later on Monday, July 16

If Apple sticks closely to the every-two-weeks pattern from here on out, and the same release schedule as last year, there's enough time for 8 betas by the end of September, a Gold Master (GM) in early October at the iPhone 5 event, and a release in early/mid October when the iPhone 5 ships.

If any of the betas take longer than 2 weeks, or if the period between the final beta and the GM seed is extended like last year, the 6 or 7 betas between now and then seems more reasonable.

Either way, given Apple's secrecy, the only sound strategy for iOS betas is to expect them when you see them.

How Pride, Virginity And Abstinence Messed Up My Sex Drive

Prior to getting married, I was an overzealous advocate of abstinence. This did not mean that I organized True Love Waits rallies, attended purity balls or brandished a purity ring (mine was placed in a "safe" location in my room never to be seen again after my 13th birthday). But it did mean that I took the decision to save sex for marriage very seriously.

For one, I was determined to heed my mother's early admonishments not to "make the same mistakes she did." I would learn from the heartache of her unwanted pregnancy at 19. I would protect my heart and my body.

My commitment to chastity also became entrenched due to the highly sexualized nature of North American youth culture. It disturbed me to my deepest core that remaining a virgin past the age of 16 was deemed an unrealistic goal. So I took it upon myself to be the exception. I would show that it was possible to remain "pure." It is here that the seeds of pride were sown in the fertile ground of good intentions.

I embraced the image of myself as the radical abstinence practitioner until I became engaged at the age of 24. Up to this point, my pride had deluded me into thinking that I had a balanced, Godly view of sexuality. I assumed that because I had "fought the good fight" to remain chaste, I would be able to seamlessly transition into a healthy sexual relationship with my husband.

However, as the wedding night approached, I found myself reluctant to have sex and growing ever resentful at the idea that I had to surrender 24 years of hard-won virginity. I did not see sexual intercourse as a gift from God or a wonderful way to gain intimacy with my husband. Instead, sex signified a loss. To me, it meant nothing more than deflowerment. The fact that I would even view my husband as a "deflowerer" should have been the sign that something was seriously wrong about my attitude toward sex. But my pride did not allow me to challenge this viewpoint.

And so I spent a very disappointing honeymoon trying to have awesome sex but just feeling empty. I tried to be sexy (wear lingerie, etc.) but it felt extremely hollow. I was going through the motions but not owning my sexuality. I knew that I was blocked inside somehow. I couldn't recognize that it was my own pride that had twisted my commitment to chastity into chains that confined my married sexuality.

You see rather than let God shape my sexuality; I made it all about me. My dedication to chastity was egocentric -- it centered on the steeling of my will, and the impressiveness of my ability to have a serious relationship without physical intercourse.

I loved the respect I got from being a virgin and I did not see how being a wife gave me any honor. As often goes with pride, the more I made my commitment to abstinence about me, the more I became distanced from the real me -- a sexual being God created for pleasure. I did not want to be sexual and I divorced myself from that identity. I refused to make peace with my vagina (you just stay down there and do your thing -- I'll do mine), and I viewed biblical examples of sexual pleasure as embarrassingly crass ("Breasts like ripe melons"?! Keep your mind out of the gutter, Solomon!).

Ultimately, the squelching of my sexuality only led to heartache and frustration for me and my husband.

It can be very hard for a dedicated virgin to "switch gears" into passionate married sexuality. If the transition is difficult for you, you are not alone. But God can heal you and help you realize that your chaste self is not that far removed from your sexual self. After all, chastity is meant to prepare you for intimacy, be it with God through bodily purity or with your husband through the physical act of sex.

I would like to encourage others to embrace chastity but not to do so at the expense of their own God given sexuality.

It is possible to turn chastity -- one's virginity -- into an idol. By prizing our own purity too highly, it is possible to hurt married sexuality.

Do not let abstinence become an idol in your life, like I did.

What part of the word vacation do you not understand?

ImageFinder via Forbes.com

More than half of those surveyed said they will be working while on vacation.

By Eve Tahmincioglu

A growing number of employers are giving workers paid vacation time these days. The only thing is, many of you don?t understand what vacation is all about.

Vacation means taking time away from work, relaxing and recharging. That means, not working.

Unfortunately, more than half of U.S. workers plan on working during their vacations this year including everything from checking emails to doing actual work tasks.

A poll released this week by software company TeamViewer and conducted by Harris Interactive in May, found that 52 percent of those surveyed will be working while on vacation, up from 46 percent the previous year.

Here?s how the workaholic?s vacation/work schedule breaks down, according to the survey:

  • Reading work-related emails ? 30 percent
  • Receiving work-related phone calls ? 23 percent
  • Wanting access to a document on my home computer ? 19 percent
  • Receive work-related text messages ? 18 percent
  • Wanting access to a document on my work computer ? 13 percent
  • Being asked to do work by a boss, client or colleague ? 13 percent.

The worst gender for this vacation offense are men with 56 percent saying they were more likely to work, compared to 47 percent among women.

And the one group that can?t seem to get a break is single working Americans, who expect to be asked to do work by the boss more often than their married counterparts, 15 percent versus 6 percent.??

For many workers, the decision to keep working through R&R times, is about making sure jobs are secure and going above what?s expected in order to impress employers.

But that can be a recipe for disaster and may ultimately hurt your job performance.

"Rest and renewal ultimately increase our ability to be productive, it is essential to completely unplug when on vacation," said?Susan Steinbrecher, a business consultant and author of "KENSHO: A Modern Awakening, Instigating Change in an Era of Global Renewal."

"Most people don?t take renewal seriously," she continued. "I believe our connected, always on, 24/7 society has lost the ability to recharge and renew without distractions. The minute you check an email or voice message while on holiday, you?re likely to get sucked right back in."

Some employers seem to realize the importance of vacation for their workers. The number of employers offering vacation benefits is actually on the rise.

Today, more than half of organizations now provide paid time off, including vacation days, compared to 42 percent in 2009, according to a report released in June by the Society for Human Resource Management.

And some firms are actually trying out unlimited vacation policies.

Alas, many workers still aren?t taking their vacation days seriously, or should I say, un-seriously.

"Today?s work environment of intense time pressures and limited resources means we are all required to put in extra effort, energy and time ? which can create a lot of stress," Steinbrecher maintained. "This 'do more with less' work ethic means that if we don?t completely disengage when on vacation, we?re not fully recharging or refueling."

Theater Community Strikes Back at 'Three's Company' Legal Dispute

Anna Chlumsky, Kate Buddeke, Hannah Cabell and Jake Silbermann in "3C"

NEW YORK -- The Off Broadway world-premiere production of David Adjmi's 3C closed as scheduled on July 14, but the controversy over the playwright's barbed deconstruction of 1970s ABC sitcom Three's Company continues.

An open letter from leading members of the New York theatre community blasts the claim by legal reps for DLT Entertainment, owner of the longrunning sitcom, that Adjmi's play is an act of copyright infringement that damages their client's property. The letter maintains instead that the play is a satirical work, and like all parody, should be recognized as protected speech under the First Amendment.

Signatories of the letter include Martha Plimpton, Terry Kinney, Tony Kushner, Kenneth Lonergan, Stephen Sondheim, Joe Mantello, John Patrick Shanley, Jon Robin Baitz, John Guare, Chris Shinn, Terrence McNally, Jose Rivera, Craig Lucas, Stephen Karam, Stephen Adly Guirgis and Bruce Norris, whose Pulitzer-winning?Clybourne Park won this year's Tony Award for best play.

Representatves of such leading theater companies as Lincoln Center Theatre, New York Theatre Workshop and Steppenwolf Theatre Company added their names to the protest.

Through the show's producers, Adjmi became aware of a cease-and-desist letter from DLT's reps, Kenyon & Kenyon, on June 21, the same day 3C opened at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in Greenwich Village. The letter charged that Adjmi had infringed copyright by lifting key elements from Three's Company, including a male lead who pretends to be gay in order to share an apartment with two female roommates without scandalizing the uptight landlord.

Adjmi told The New York Times that through his agents, he responded informally to the cease-and-desist letter by agreeing to refrain from publishing or circulating the script, and to turn down any offers for future productions. He also consented to nix any extension of the five-week Rattlestick run, which is a regular factor in many Off Broadway engagements.

?I can?t afford a fancy lawyer,? Adjmi told the Times. ?And I was getting all sorts of conflicting advice from my agents at CAA and my producers, some of whom doubted that the play would meet the legal standards of parody.?

The producers, Piece By Piece Productions, Rising Phoenix Repertory and Rattlestick, released the following statement:?"We cannot address the legal issue, but we can say that we believe in?3C?? the play, cast, and crew ? otherwise we would have never produced it. We always sought to keep the production going for its full, scheduled run. We were able to make that happen and the play received some wonderful reviews and played to sold-out houses."

Reviews for the production, whose cast included Anna Chlumsky (Veep) and Eddie Cahill (CSI: NY),?were mixed. But critics unfailingly picked up on the deliberate structural similarities to Three's Company, used by Adjmi to examine sexism, homophobia and other prejudices prevalent in American popular culture of that era.

Adjmi said his aim with the play was to write "a deep critique of the ideologies and assumptions behind the television series, leading to a collective nervous breakdown for the characters.? While Rattlestick's marketing made no direct reference to Three's Company, press materials said the play was "inspired by 1970s sitcoms, 1950s existentialist comedy, Chekhov, and Disco anthems."

"The critical response to the play has generally acknowledged 3C's exploration of the essential aloneness of the characters, and the toxic suffering they endure," said the theater community protest letter. "Mr. Adjmi's intentions are not to replicate Three's Company, but clearly and patently to mutate it into something dark and frightening, savage even."

The protesters take issue with the imbalance of an Off Broadway playwright, whose income is cobbled together largely out of grants and commissions, being bullied by a Wall Street law firm over a network show that was canceled almost 30 years ago.

?"Specious and spurious legal bullying of artists should be vigorously opposed, and that opposition must begin first and foremost with all of us in the New York theatre community," concluded the letter, which aims to attract a pro bono lawyer to take on the case.

Adapted from the hit British sitcom Man About the House, Three's Company aired on ABC from March 1977 through Sept. 1984, and continues to earn revenues in syndication and home-entertainment formats. It starred John Ritter, Joyce DeWitt and Suzanne Somers.
