I can only imagine how difficult it must be to transition from the NFL to ?civilian? life.? The money, the structure, the ?fringe benefits? must be incredibly difficult to give up.? Further, many of our sports heroes don?t get any real education while they?re being warehoused in college until they ?ripen? into their professional selves.? It happens so often it has become a clich?.? Former NFL and University of Miami player William Joseph has pleaded guilty to federal charges arising out of an undercover FBI tax fraud investigation.? I?m not defending him.? I?m just saying this outcome is predictable.
